wish my name were irish

had coffee with a friend who just got back from 8 weeks in ireland today.  and TONIGHT, discovered that two friends are dual citizens in ireland!  also bought a travel sheet for questionable hostels.  the excitement builds.    things i learned:

1. no smoking in bars in ireland.
2. the irish don’t wear shorts.
3. lock-ins at bars do exisit.
4. leggings are essential.
5. be on time for ryanair flights.
6. the political groups in northern ireland compare themselves to the palestinians and israelis.
