Why am I creating a blog?  Because I’m going to Ireland for four months, drinking lots of Guinness, and would like to remember what happened.

No really.  This study abroad blog was created for the standard reasons: keeping in touch with people, letting them know what’s up in my life, reflecting on my experiences, archiving my activities, and improving my writing.  Secondary goals?  Creating discipline in my life because I’ll feel the obligation to write regularly…giving me another way to waste tremendous amounts of time…and of course providing me with another aspect of my life to freak out about.

If you were looking for more specific information about who I am, then you probably shouldn’t be reading this.  I’m from the Midwest and I’m going to school in SoCal.  You can fill in the rest from my posts.
