Twenty workers from India will work from February at COMELF SA Bistrita, in the production workshops. The company found this solution to cover the labor shortage in the region.

"If these Indian workers will adapt well to Bistrita, we will bring others to cover the jobs available at Comelf, especially in the welding area," said for, the general manager of Comelf SA, Gheorghe Cenușă.

The company from Bistrita, like many other local and national businesses, has faced in recent years an acute crisis of qualified staff. Involvement in dual education and collaboration with vocational schools have not yet yielded the expected results, and Comelf's contracts and orders require urgent solutions.

Comelf SA, part of the Uzinsider group, is one of the largest manufacturers of industrial equipment in Romania, with annual business approaching 40 million euros and approx. 1000 employees. The company from Bistrita, with roots of almost 50 years in the Romanian industry, is one of the 12 founders of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
